Above
is a photo of some aspiring Dutch WAPs taken on Arcadia in Amsterdam,
1969.

Green, Tineke E van Gent,

This
is the QE2 when Mark Hoddinott and I got invited onboard in Nassau by a R/O friend of mine, Alan Burbidge, who'd joined Cunard. Our dare was to raise the P&O flag - a sign of things to come!
The Officers' Revue on the line voyage from Sydney, 1975/6. The group shot has Paddy
Clare (VO), Rob Morley (Purser Cadet), Crouch (DJ), Rollo Tomkins (4E), Chalky White (2VO).

Aneurin
writes;
This
is Rollo doing his Customs Officer sketch, which consisted of him screaming at the girl to take her clothes off. (Remarkably similar to his wheeling-in technique, as I recall...)
David
Saunders advises the lady is Louise Hicks (WAP)
There's
more photos of this revue in David
Saunders' Memories.
And
that's Alan Conlin (aka TT) next to 3 and behind Mick Lemm.
Steve
Quinnell has kindly named himself, Jasper Sheedy and Ian Brunton.
Harbo
writes;
I
believe No13 is a Lecky called Alan Lampkin, N014 could be Dave Preece and
I think No16 is Jady Stevens, not Dave Ferguson.
Ian
Brunton advises No 12 is an engineering cadet called Jeff Oxnard and
believes No3 named as Brendon O'Donoghue is actually Eddie McDonnell 2/V/O.
Tony Toledo
advises that this photo was taken in December 1976 when he was a cadet on the
Arcadia and he was a young 19 year old at the time and it was taken during the 4-8 am watch which is why
they all look half asleep!!

Terry
Bartholomew has come up with the following names;
This
is a boat trip at I think Lautoka, looks like engine problems! I remember some of the guys; Roger Davis at the back, Douggie Cruickshank,
I think he is standing in front of John Heslop, Glen is there & Nice John.
Charlie
has set us another challenge. He can name all the men but none of the
ladies so let's see how good you are.
Terry
Bartholomew has taken up the challenge and writes;
I think the female line up is, from left to right:
Sally Duffield
(Nurse), Shirley Lion (Hostess),
Eileen O'Keane (Baby Doc, deceased), Chrissie Harrison, Carol Brown (SWAP), Lisa Connell (Hostess) and Louise Hicks (now Bridle)
(WAP).
Thanks
to Jane Morgan (now Jore) for naming Loise Hicks.
Tim
Lees kindly named Chrissie Harrison
We
still need someone to try and name all the men!

I've
put this programme here as it's from the year before (1977) but for the
same occasion with many of the same people in the revue. Click on each

Arcadia Christmas
Day 1978 - Noon aft deck. Someone gave TT a Big bottle
of champers and he cooled it down somewhere, that was the start of a jolly
afternoon.
