Daphne recalls;
A funny postscript to this is we needed to find some tartan to make the girls' sashes but this was a problem as we were in the middle of the Indian Ocean at the time. Then someone discovered that the Ch/Off had tartan curtains ......... !

1970/71 Dinner ashore in Cape Town

Pete recalls;
This is myself (on the left, with the ridiculous moustache) and Terry Bartholomew (Electrical Officer) with a couple of women in the Edward Hotel in Cape Town whilst attached to the Orcades in late 1970 or early 1971! TB was looking slightly over GT’d at the time.
I like the Gomez moustache Pete, very 70's.
