Ken’s Memories
Ken Miller sent in a variety of shots that I believe were all taken on the Canberra but not quite sure so I've decided to post them all here as Ken's Memories. The narration is all Ken's also.
I've finally done it. Here's a selection of my photos. I seem to have a depressing amount of dodgy asbestos ones and remarkably few of the people but there are one or two good ones.
Alan Ramsey won't answer his phone: The legendary Alan Ramsey fails to respond to his telephone call. The rest is self-explanatory.

Jumbo and friends- Mike Jepson, Warren Ladyman (no, seriously with tash), plus Ross Henderson. Some nurses, with the name Sue somewhere, but don't count on it.

Pass the BA set-smoke, lots of it, from the fiddly looking aft over where No.4 used to be.

That's a brilliant shot ... takes me right back to my first arrival in 1975.

The sausage cooker- The dancing valves where John Eldon dropped his sausages and caused a fire-rang the panic, put fire out before anyone got there, then tried to explain the smell-very funny.
The shovel handles-Kenny G and another wizard whose name still escapes me.
The starboard turbine- As it says.

I have a video of the ship at 120RPM (full speed in my days) with the resulting smoke-if I ever figure out how to reduce the file size-I'll send that too.
