Simon Hill's MemoriesThe first through forth are Oronsay circa 1975 A crew member & I.
Same crew member, Dougie Cruikshank, and another crew member somewhat hung over.

Ian trying to calm down our FW evaps Daisy May and Daisy Bell.
The fifth and sixth are Canberra in the later 70s. Steve Frost, Pete Thomson, Dave Lund & Dave Bloomer.
Willie Lomax & Boiler room trainer Mich Campion. The seventh & eighth are on the Pacific Princess in the late 70s or early 80s. Nigel Hastings to the left was 2nd Engineer, Dai Young 1st Electrician, Andy Reese and Gerry Dyer working for Dai, myself between Andy & Gerry, as a 3rd Engineer and occasionally VO, Ian Mark J2nd Engineer, and Ken Ogle a spirited watch keeping engineer. Both Nigel and, I believe Ken, are now with LR, Nigel is somewhat high up the ladder and, having met up with him in Vancouver BC a couple of years ago, will probably be looking forward to retiring soon. Dai lives inland of Long Beach. Gerry is still at sea with Princess and now heads the Electrical Department, as I believe is Ian, but as Chief Engineer, not sure what happened to Andy, although I met up with him through mutual friends when he was visiting Bermuda in the early '90s.
