Ventura is the largest superliner built exclusively for British holidaymakers and will have Southampton as her homeport and has been officially ‘handed over’ to P&O Cruises by the Fincantieri shipyard, Monfalcone, Italy.

The following photos kindly sent in by Dave Jewkes shows the brand new Ventura as she arrived into UK for the first time. She arrived into Southampton at noon on the 6th April and is not due to sail on her maiden voyage until the 18th April. She'll be named on the 16th April by Dame Helen Miran, who played the Queen in the recent movie.
